Welcome to a season that proves, once again, opera is for everyone.
We begin with Then Sings My Soul, a heartfelt concert that shines a very bright light on African American singers, musicians, and composers in genres ranging from classical to gospel to jazz.
And then our wish to introduce you to our own Three Tenors comes true this June. Our Three Tenors concert features powerhouse, soaring voices in tunes you love made famous by a few tenors who came before.
Lastly, there’s the highlight of the season, Un Ballo in Maschero. Our first Verdi opera in concert is set around a Masked Ball, featuring fabulous world-class singing, and set on stage with orchestra, chorus, semi-staging, lighting and surtitles.
Woven throughout the season are special events designed to transport and connect us. La Dolce Vita features the good life—dining, dancing and singing, Italian-style. The Holiday Opera House Tour gives you an inside peek at a spectacularly decorated home filled with operatic surprises. And our grand finale—Sing and Ring New Year’s Gala—is the event you wait all year for. Fun, fun, fun!
