Pittsburgh Festival Opera Education Department works alongside Trying Together, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Carnegie Science Center, and Children’s Museum to collaborate with community organization partners in Hazelwood, Homewood, and East Liberty to bring a shared learning experience for children ages 0-5 and their families in literacy and vocabulary. Leading this program for Pittsburgh Festival Opera is our Education Advocate, Delana Flowers, who has been creating a wonderful Read & Sing series that features an original song and dance routine by Delana.
